We are offering fully guided goose hunts on four hundred acres located in the Sacramento Valley. Our field is located in one of the best locations you could ask for. We are next to a major refuge closed zone and have thousands of geese that winter on this property. We are hunting out of a large pit blind that can accommodate up to seven shooters and your guide. The blind is completely hidden, covered, and heated.
You will be hunting working birds. This is not pass shooting. White fronts (Specks) and Snows are the primary birds that we target in this area. However, duck hunting for Mallard and Pintail can occasionally be had on days with weather, too. We are not in the White Front closure area, so we can hunt these great eating birds throughout the season. This is a quality and well managed shoot that I believe you will enjoy without all the hassle that is usually involved in waterfowl hunting. The field will be dry, not flooded. Therefore, waders are not required. However, I do recommend waterproof boots and rain gear if the forecast is calling for rain.
This blind is the only blind I have on the property therefore allowing the birds a place to rest and insuring us a quality hunt with plenty of action. This is a special hunting opportunity. I have no doubt that you will be as impressed as I am with the quality of the bird traffic of this area. I believe this is some of the finest waterfowl hunting you can experience without the expense of flying to Canada or some other far away destination. Rates are $225.00 per hunter and we can accommodate 1 - 7 hunters.
NEW FIELD !!! Duck Hunts
We have just recently leased a prime piece of ground to conduct our duck hunts on. I have been looking for 6 years to find the right field to guide our duck hunts. I finally found it. This is a great Mallard and Speck location. I have one hunting location on over 200 acres and the neighboring properties are not hunted and will act as sanctuary for my operation. I have opted not to shoot the rest of the property but I will pay for water on these fields to give us a wide birth with no shooting. The nearest shooting will be over 3/4 of a mile away allowing us to work birds until they finish. Give me a call if you would like to book a duck hunt or goose and duck combo. Hunters can also bring there own dog on the duck hunts. I can accommodate up to 7 hunters on the duck hunts. Rates will be $225.00 per hunt per person.
